Replacing Wrike in Dallas.
Dallas marketing operations teams and PMOs run Wrike at the enterprise end and pay for all of it while needing a fraction. We build the system that replaces Wrike, intake and approvals intact, and your company owns it. We held a Wrike partnership once and walked away from it. Our focus is replacing Wrike. The engagement runs over video from Clearwater, Florida.
Who this is for, in Dallas
Dallas marketing operations teams and PMOs at the enterprise end of work management. Request forms, blueprints, proofing and approvals, and an invoice that has grown seats, add-ons, and an analytics product. Teams that need a fraction of Wrike end up paying for all of it, and still exporting to a spreadsheet for the numbers that matter.
The work, in order
What replacing Wrike looks like from Dallas
Audit
We read the account before we build. The folder and cross-tag tree, where inflated counts hide. Every request form, blueprint and custom workflow, documented from the live account because none of it exports. The audit tells us whether the tangle came from bad setup, which a Wrike partner can fix and we'll say so, or from Wrike being asked to model something it can't hold, which is what we build past.
Migration
Wrike's API exposes folders, projects, tasks, subtasks, custom fields, comments, and approvals, so the record of who approved what survives the move. Cross-tagged tasks export once per parent and force a real decision. One home, or a genuine many-to-many relationship in the new system. We make that mapping explicit and put it in front of you before the import runs.
Build
The replacement gets built while Wrike stays live, imports run on a schedule, and both systems answer the same questions until they agree. Intake and approvals get designed first. The budgets and the executive report move inside. Seats, add-ons, and the analytics product lapse at renewal on their own schedule, with nothing broken early.
Handover
Every account the new system runs on is created in your company's name from the start. Handover is documentation, training by role over video, and administrator access you can remove. Reporting is a screen, not an add-on, and outside reviewers get a link, not a seat. An optional support plan covers the system we built, with no meter at all.
Our focus
Our focus is replacing Wrike. If what your Dallas team really needs is Wrike working better, not replaced, we'll say so on the first call rather than sell you a build. What we build is the system that replaces it.
Why teams here leave Wrike
Wrike prices its depth in layers. Higher tiers for the features a growing team reaches for, an add-on for serious analytics, another for integrations, and automations metered per seat. The pattern we kept meeting was Wrike for tasks and approvals, a spreadsheet for budgets and the executive report, and a monthly export ritual to reconcile them.
The work
We're a Clearwater, Florida firm and we don't keep a Dallas office. Dallas clients get the same remote engagement as everyone we work with across the country. The Wrike knowledge is first-hand, from years of setting it up and supporting it for marketing operations and PMOs, plus a partnership we chose to end.
Questions Dallas companies ask
What people ask about leaving Wrike in Dallas
Were you a Wrike partner?
We held a Wrike partnership once and walked away from it. Building replacements pays us to be honest about the tool. So if Wrike fits your Dallas team, that's the advice you get, along with a pointer at who can configure it properly.
Can you clean up our cross-tagging without replacing anything?
That isn't our focus. Untangling the folder and cross-tag structure is a real project on its own, and it usually belongs with a Wrike partner or your own admin. The test is whether the tangle came from bad setup or from Wrike being asked to model something it can't. The first one we point you away from us for. The second keeps coming back, and a system that holds the relationships properly is the fix.
What happens to our approval history if we leave?
It comes across. Approvals, comments, and the custom fields around them are available through the API, so who approved what, and when, survives into the new system with dates intact. That history is exactly the kind of record a migration carrying only tasks would silently drop. We treat it as a first-class object in the mapping.
